Providence Academy is looking for highly organized
and self-motivated Elementary, Middle, and High School
teachers for the 2008-2009 Academic Year. We are a
pre-K through 12, independent, private, school in the
Catholic Tradition
that provides Classical Education to the families of the
La Crosse, Wisconsin area. The curriculum is highly
structured, and the vision is clear and firm in its
intention to give children the tools for attaining
heaven. All applicants must be Catholic and
live out their faith in dynamic fidelity to the
Magisterium. La Crosse, Wisconsin, located on the
Mississippi, has a vibrant Catholic community of all
ages.
Lower School (pre-K through Fifth
Grade)
Requirements for the Lower School positions
include:
- At least a four-year bachelor’s degree.
- A knowledge of the basic teachings of the Catholic
Church.
- For Grades 4 and 5, a reading knowledge of Latin
Training in our curriculum will be provided along

Upper School (Sixth through Twelfth Grade)
Science and Classics
teachers for Middle School and High School students for the
2008-2009 Academic Year.
Requirements for the Upper School positions
include:
- At least a four-year Liberal Arts bachelor’s degree.
- A knowledge of the basic teachings of the Catholic
Church.
- Supportive of the Classical Tradition.
- Some knowledge of Latin, a reading knowledge is
preferred.
Training in our curriculum will be provided along
